ABANDONED (chapter 2)
My Mother became tense and didn't know what to do at that moment. She decided to keep the baby and run away from the white man, even if it takes sleeping on the streets. My Mother and I became a street sleeper, where we were exposed to all kinds and types of cars and bad atrocities on the road. My Mother became an alms beggar just to get some money to take care of the unborn baby.
After a month, we went back into the basement we left because of the harshness of the weather and the shame my mother faced on the streets with her torn clothes and her untidy hair.
