The Good News is the truth and isn't there a Peace that comes with the truth?
For HE HIMSELF is our Peace and our bond of Unity.
HE WHO made both groups—[Jews and Gentiles]—into one body and broke down the barrier, the dividing wall [of spiritual antagonism between us],
Ephesians 2:14 AMP
When we read and study the Word of GOD, we read the Good News.
When we read the Good News we learn more about GOD, JESUS and The HOLY SPIRIT.
We understand what is expected fo us as Christians. We understand what pleases GOD. We understand HIS Commands and how we should follow them.
We understand the Sacrifice that CHRIST made on the Cross. We understand HIS Love and we can go forward resting in HIM.
We understand The Role of The HOLY SPIRIT in us and what the fruit of having HIM in us produces.
Once we understand that we don't have to go through this life and missions on our own, we rest and rest produces Peace.
These truths give us Peace and keep us prepared for whatever comes our way.
They keep us prepared for whatever, whenever and wherever we are sent to go.
Putting on shoes signifies starting out on a journey or a walk.
When we put on our shoes of Peace, we move to delivering the message of CHRIST and we do it with Peace. Spreading it as far as we go and unifying the Church of CHRIST, and as well, adding to the Body of CHRIST.
Not trying to show off how well we know Scripture or out to argue with them we feel in competition with, but to deliver a Gospel of Peace. Not for our own gain, but for the gain of the Body of CHRIST.
Where there is no Peace, Unity lacks. And there's no way we can win souls for CHRIST without the Unity of the Church.
A unity in doctrine, a unity in structure and a unity in love and strength.
A lack of unity will only undo what one will have done.
If a newly won soul hears different doctrines or see how divided the Church is, their Faith is waivered and we shall be guilty if they fall.
...but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in ME to stumble and sin [by leading him away from MY Teaching], it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone [as large as one turned by a donkey] hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
Matthew 18:6 AMP
But how can they call on HIM to save them unless they believe in HIM? And how can they believe in HIM if they have never heard about HIM? And how can they hear about HIM unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of Messengers who bring Good News!”
