Wide, frightened eyes took in the casual gait of the man walking towards her.
Then she squinted, her eyes half-closed.
Cold beads of sweat broke out across her forehead. It couldn't be him, could it?
That smirk on his thin lips was too cruel to belong to someone else.
It was him!
But how could it be? She had killed him years ago!
Her legs paced backwards as her mind rolled over the images of the bloodbath.
She had stabbed him thrice with a knife in the kitchen.
..And he bled until his hands felt frozen.
Now she watched as he ran towards her.
Turning, she fled from him like she never had for the past three years.
"Yvonne!" he hollered
It was like a painful mirage but the voice made it all real
Meanwhile, she was determined not to stop...
