Heavy rain poured down from the heavens above. Making tapping sounds as every drop hit the roof above. Every drop harder than the last. A young man clutched a .22 revolver. The odor of Gun powder, and a sharp Metallic odor came from the tears pouring down the young souls face into his left hand that held the bullets. Six bullets, he was no longer "playing a game" He was finished with how the game played him. The night was dark and the mood of the environment even darker. The digital clock in the bedroom of his father's home read 3:33. Maybe that was a for telling object of the atrocities to come. The night was like many nights before but in a way it wasn't. It was a culmination of years of resentment and tension. Depression, Drug Abuse and Post Traumatic Events. Many people assume suicide is a spur of the moment thought and decision. I'd argue they are right, but also wrong. It is a spur of the moment "choice" but the plan is we'll thought out. Many say it's selfish, but I'd say try to look at it differently. They see as they are causing misery and the world without them is a gift. I believe if more people listened more to those having mental health issues and talked and judged less we would have a better outcome. Most people just need someone to listen. That young man needed someone to listen that night.. As he loaded each chamber he had a flashback...
