Ingrained
Yea I know what it means.
Habit belief attitude firmly fixed difficult to change
Before I speak or write.I must
give honor and glory to God.
If you must know I am a black man .i have lived through the 50s the 60s the 70s the 80s lets push on to this day and age 2021
one of the reasons I am so hard on myself is i have lived through so much struggle.
I have nothing against any human being.my mother never taught me that .So it's a fact hate is taught.
I watch PBS station, for the life of me it seems that most of the programs deals with the struggles of black people and black people in this good OLE u s of a.better known as America.
I know that PBS is not black own.,but they show act liked it.
Why would you exposed the truth of the hardship that face a race of people.
All of it is painful to watch .its like a train wreck I can't turn my eyes away from it.so I watch and watch, and watch.
I have come to the conclusion that it can never be fixed. They will never right a wrong.
I thank God they can change slowly but change all the same.
Here are some black saying which are true.
This country was built by blacks on the orders of whites.
This country laws were established by whites for whites.and against black
Its one thing to bring us here by force, force us to work and force us to live under oppressed rules.
Like I said thing change slowly but do change.
There is no way to fix the past ,nor do most want to.
As I watch and participate in the last election.i was amazed that this will be the year that we blacks could vote and our vote can count.
If you let them vote allow them to vote and can't stop them to vote.
This is what you get , more people then ever will vote.and vote they did.
So what you have here is a election that was stolen.that is if you believe them .i wont mention any names but they do live here.
Sure we have been mistreated .Sure the deck has been stacked against us.Sure the laws were stacked against us
Of course there are no more signs that said no no negros allowed.
But we know our place. least I do.
That brings me to why I am writing this op-ed
I liked that I see it all the time when people write about other people in newspaper mostly white people.
I once said that I was living in the greatest country at the greatest time in the history of the world.
We are not so great today. We were the richest we were the most .
Now we are the most for all the wrong reasons. guns murders prisons covi UN fair practice against people if color.
Still why I am writing this .yiu see I am a retire senior I am a retire vet.
I have lived a hard life.
Now that life has come due for the shot i put it through
I have O D too many times I have lived with malnutrition most of my life.
I have had injuries that were never treated.i have smoked every thing from cigarettes to crack .
Now all these habits have come due time to pay the piper.
I dont trust doctors. I dont trust medicines .
I am caught between a rock and a hard place.
Even as a veteran and the VA hospital I font believe they have my best interest at heart.
I believe I am more of a number then a patient.
I will not get the best care
Its to late to changed my habits. or behavior
To all the white people I am not mad at you .
People got to do to keep what they got.
It will take the next generation to change
GOOD LUCK.
