'The Little Light'
Life took on a new meaning for me. I forgot that I was in a prison, at least for a part of my day.
But I'm not only helping myself-I made life brighter for others too. Contributions from the prison were welcomed. Ambitious was awakened. Talent was developed.
Many men, discouraged before, gained new faith in themselves. Prisoners, influenced by the little papers, have gone out to live useful lives. Several prison reforms were instituted because of discussions begun in the columns of the convict's paper-among others the law which introduced the system of parole or provisional release.
'The Little Light' became a permanent institution of the prison. And later, trained in his own office, even if that office was in a prison, I gave the world a book which deserves careful reading.

By the time I finished reading, I realised that my non-phone hand was clutching tightly, to my forehead, forcefully scrunching my forehead skin together.
I had the same facial expression I'd have on if someone made me watch a live event where people had their SKIN SLOWLY PEELED OFF.
