So Dan was now permanently impaired of the capability of love, since Ella, a tear stroked down his chin as he thought of her, everytime, and it was so traumatizing for him that he couldn't stop him from crying for her. She was his light, and now finally the lifeline was taken out of his life, he went on crying for hours at a stretch, clutching his pillow and thinking it to be Ella, one day when Abkortas had come, he literally fainted in front of him, while clutching the pillow and speaking delirium, he had been reading the Alchemist, and it was becoming painful by the second.


Finally after a fortnight, he tried to get up and go to a nearby bar with his peeps, Abkortas, Azickius, Zacharius. The square of Winners, as they had named themselves back in school.


As he sat down and took all of the pain out by downing a shot of tequila, it became easier to spill droplets of melancholy without shedding a tear, he saw some promiscuous chick staring at him from distance. She lustuosly came at him and seductively took the seat beside him. It was fucking boring, Dan thought, since these hoes were easy to pick off the roadside, fuck and then kill, just like Ted Bundy, he laughed inside his head.

The girl said, "My name is Kelsa, and I'm over 18. Wanna fuck tonight, big shot?"

"Yeah, get the fuck outta here", Dan pointed irritatedly at his trio and they got away, far away from the hustle and bustle and ennui of the city.


He stopped his car near the Jacksonville Garden and slept on the grassy pitch for hours at a stretch. It was cool to watch the stars since that is he thought breathlessly was where he would find her.
