Chains
He ran to her, quickly unlocking the chains.
"I'm so glad you're alright!" he whispered, she smiled at him and wrapped her arms around him.
"Wait, how did you find me? Julian, what did you do?!!"
"What I had too! listen, right now we need to get out of here, later we worry." he told her. She nodded although she had a feeling that meant something bad was yet to come.
"Just for the record, I don't think I like the sound of that"
"You probably have a reason not to" he assured her, she looked at him not comforted in the slightest. Although she was happy to see him and grateful to be out of chains.

They ran and hid as often as they needed too, down the halls of the castle and as quietly as they could to escape the guards that were walking backwards and forwards looking out for anything that shouldn't be happening. In the castle of doom, that's how Josie saw it. The castle was run by an evil wizard whose ambition was to take over the lands, he lived for the darker things in life and wanted the world to be as dark as he was.

"We just need to make it over there" Julian whispered to her, pointing over to the trees that led into the forest, "we have to try not to be seen as well"
"That's easier said than done, they'd be able to spot us from those towers up there" she whispered back.
"We might just have to run as fast as we can" he answered, "Might be no other choice, the one advantage we have is they don't know they're looking for you just yet," he told her. just as he said that the alert bells chimed
"Looks like they know now" she stated more concerned than she had been a minute ago.
"Me and my big mouth" he mumbled, "There's a big crowd over there if we run over to them we can blend in with the crowds to the edge and then make a run for it" he added, noticing the market was open, the crowd was getting larger by the minute.

Following the crowd took a while but they eventually got closer to the edge of the forest where they both leaped into and ran as fast as they could deeper into it. They only stopped when they felt they were far enough away from the castle,
"We should be ok for awhile" he whispered breathlessly
"good" she answered. Just as breathless.
She looked at her boyfriend for a moment. "Is now a bad time to ask what you did?" She asked him
"Let's just focus on getting back first" he told her. He knew how telling her would go and right now they had enough to worry about. His main concern right now was to get her back safely. He knew what was waiting for him when they got back but a deal was a deal.
