Lethe looked at his men in disgust as he pulled out the sword from his chest. He looked at the sword and stuck it in the marble floor. He glared at them and left the room. The men hurried forward, stumbling over each other trying to get out of the room. No one said a word as they went back to their bunks.
Lethe slammed his door shut and looked at the hole in his chest. Frustration and embarrassment filled him and crimson tears streamed down his face.
"I'm pathetic." he muttered. "I can't even control my own men."
He opened a bottle and started drinking until it was empty. He opened another bottle and started drinking again. Bottle after bottle, he kept drinking. By morning, 25 bottles laid on the floor empty. Lethe slowly got up and walked outside. His men stood at attention and nervously glanced at each other.
"everyone, 200 push-ups. Now." everyone got down in push-up position.
"on my count. Down. Up. "
The army counted together and were worn out by the time they finished.
"30 laps. And if I see anyone lagging behind, I will make it 100 laps." the man started to run.
As they finished, Lethe pulled out his whip.
"I'm disappointed in all of you." He said. "those who confronted my father, you know better than to do that. Those who stayed...
