Jesse and I were sitting under the apple tree outside my yard, the cool breeze of the evening caressing our skin. We were laughing and talking, give ourselves, a gist of how our day went. It was as if we totally forgot about what had happened the previous day.

Two dark guys, very dark that only their teeth shun, smiling at us from afar, approached us. We couldn't see them from afar.

As they drew closer to us, I could see their well built body under the black hoodie they wore. It's just like their outfit had been planned. 

I scurried behind Jesse who stood up trying to look Closer, standing there without any atom of fear.

 'Good evening gentlemen', Jesse said trying to sound polite as they came very close to us.

'Good evening ', they chorused.

'so what brings you here', Jesse said.

'Chris sent a message', one of the guys said.

On hearing 'Chris' goosebumps romance my skin.

'What did he say', I said crawling out of my hiding place. Disgust spelt on my face as I said it.

One of the guys brought out a little red box, it was well package with fancy ribbons and all.

He handed it over to me.

'Thank you', I said stretching my hand to get the box after much hesitation.

The guys left suddenly without any other word.

'What is wrong?, You look confused, and I can sense you are not happy' Jesse asked curiously.

I said nothing as I walked away.

Up in my room, I stared at the box in surprise and disgust.

What happened just left me speechless with the little red box in my hand.

I couldn't say a word, instead tears rolled down my cheeks without my consent as I looked at the box. 

I wiped them off quickly with the back of my hand.

why I'm I crying all of a sudden..........?

Don't tell me I'm thinking of Chris right now!!

But that's not possible!

Why will he gift me?

What is inside this box anyways. I said and questioned as I tried to unwrap the little box.

'Hey, it's okay to cry'. Jesse, appearing said interrupting my thoughts.

'What the hell is Jesse saying', I said within myself. 'How will I cry?'.

I didn't reply.

'Since you refuse to talk, Good night' Jesse said leaving me with a gentle kiss on my cheek.

Jesse disappears.

Jesse is my guardian angel and he is suppose to know what I am thinking right?, I went into deep thoughts.

Why doesn't he know Me by now?, I thought to myself.

I opened the box, it was a necklace with a diamond pendant on it.

'Why are you trying so hard Chris?', I spoke out loud this time but in a soft tone.

O wait!, there is a note in there too.

It states:     'De palace' restaurant

                      @ 19 lavender street

                        Meet me there at 7pm

                               Table 15

How rude! I thought.

But ......... It is a date!!!!!!!!, I said with much excitement than I had expected of myself at that moment.

Then I remembered that I was angry at him.

He wasn't polite in the note, I said with a smirk on my face.
