You were always my comfort since the time I can recall, your soft smile and soothing eyes became my happy place.
I loved to listen to your stories, your soothing voice made them the best
You gave me a serene, calm vibe, so distant from the chaotic world outside.
Your forehead creases and wrinkled face spoke of your experiences in life
Your hearty laugh and sarcastic jokes gave away the impression to not take life too seriously.
Your silent demeanor and quiet suffering spoke of the times you might have been cut off or pushed away and your opinions not valued at all.
In your times, life must have been difficult for a woman, a burden to the family, married off young,
You must have had a fair share of hardships, managing a large joint family of 33 members, meeting everyone's needs when your own children lay around dirty in the dust, it must have been hard for a young girl to go through so much.
And after being widowed, you must have become an outcast, well at that time, a wife without a husband was treated worst than an object. But you made it....through all the hardships you stood like a pillar for your children. And you made it till the end, to see your children settled and have a family of their own.
And till now, you are so independent, you carry yourself so well, you don't let anyone do your chores and you try to keep up with the young world around you.
You really have aged like a fine wine...of the best quality.
