Yearl Yancy was in love with Cindy! Cindy, however,was doubtful of the sincerity of his words, his deeds & his heart. " Yearl you tell me you love me but you have the tendency of falling in love too easily with a pretty face & pretty smile. I know you Yearl! I have known you since highschool...Yearl saying in his own defense, " Come on Cindy You and I are beyond I high school years.. Besides, I have always thought you were attractive..but you were involved with someone & I of course was extremely immature..". But we are grown folks now .We are many years removed from our highschool exploits..We have been platonic friends most of our lives..no..all of our lives.. Why not us!! why not now?

Just at that moment, Yearl reached into his pocket, pulled a folded piece of paper, opened it revealing his long hand writing of a poem......" This poem is entitled" Our life together!"

We are friends unlike
no others..We travel in
life like two ships
