"What are you doing here?"
That was how Alicia's husband greeted her when she entered their home.
It saddened Alicia when she remembered his hugs and tender kisses. She gave him a small smile and walked past him.

"I came to take some of my things," she said.
As she headed upstairs, he followed her. Looming behind like a shadow, not saying anything.
"Don't worry I won't steal your precious possessions," she said bitterly.
"I have to make sure," came his reply. He sounded tired, and when she entered the room they shared, she risked a glance at him. He was disheveled and looked like he had worse days.
