With the trip done, and having had so much fun, a two large confessions, we had a new member in our group- Kenta. Before he could even mingle properly inro our group, we were hit hard by the most terrifying incident: Final exams! The exams that were going to decide our future.

We hardly met ever since the news hit us. Everybody had switched on their 'nerd mode' and were preparing hard, while I, you guys know .. read the textbook once completely and aced the exams, thanks to my photographic memory.

"Its such a drag, having to wait two days between each exam!" Maya frowned.
"Can't wait for the long vacations??" I asked her.
She looked me deep into the eye, while almost pulling me into a kiss, said "We get to be alone dummy!"
That's probably the first time I realised it too.

Only one exam was left and everyone were excited for the vacations. I and Maya had our plans for half the vacations. Kenta and Megha seemed like they had their plans too, and Sebastian said he'd visit his grandparents as they were growing old. Ashok said he'd get into a part time job, which was probably the best decision made among us all.

The two days wait for the last exam seemed like ages, but somehow we managed to ace it too. All of our wild fantasies were close to fruition.

As you all might have guessed, I was the passive one in the decision making. Maya made all the decisions... And I followed her around. Well, she was always the best at making plans or selecting places, so I calmly followed her around.

"What say we take that roller coaster?" She asked me one day in the amusement park.
"Only for you to close your eyes and tightly clutch my arm in fear?" I said.
"Hmph." She was about to leave. The general woman thing, floated cheeks and an attitude that makes any guy stop them and do all they want us to do. Law of Natural Attraction.

I did the same. Caught her by the hand and pulled into a hug.
"Cmon. Let's go!" I said.
"No. I wanna stay cozy in your arms!" She said, slightly blushing.
"As My Lady wishes!"
We sat down on a nearby bench where she cuddled herself into my hug, feeling warm and cozy.
After about fifteen minutes of silence, she asked: "Which University are you applying to?"

"The best in the country!" I answered.
"Don't you have to stay in hostel for that?" She asked me.
"Yes, not only that, I'll also have to leave you all here." I said, knowing she'd be angry for reminding her the fact, but still awaiting an answer.
"Well, you might have to leave them all, but I'm tagging along!"
That made me happy. Another four years, we were going to be together.
"Look at you, smiling like an idiot!!" I had started smiling without even realising I had.

"But all that depends on our results of the finals. If we get a good grade here, we'll be able to take up the entrance examination for the University!" I told her.
"Yeah, the results are due tomorrow!" She reminded me.
"Wow, a month has already passed? No wonder they say time flies-" a short gap, in which I look I to her eyes and say "- when you're with the ones you love!" I said.
She blushed.
"Stop it! I blush any harder and my cheeks will hurt!" She exclaimed.
With that I pinch her cheeks so hard she whined.
"Oww! What was that for?" She said, a bit upset.
"Its called a cheek massage!" I reply while slowly massaging her cheeks.
Relaxed by it, she slowly slid onto my lap and asked me to keep on massaging her until she asked me to stop.
"Do you even realise we're in public? And in a park?" I said.
"Shut up and continue!" Was her only reply.

After enjoying the rest of the day with Maya, I made it home just in time as to not be scolded.
Next morning. An unknown tension. Results are due. I was confident about mine, but I was worried about Maya as she tends to worry over the smallest of things.
Finally, the results were out. I checked mine.
"97.92%!"...."not bad!". I told myself. I informed my parents and received a lot of congratulations the whole day, from all relatives. You know how it is. One achievement and they tell everyone. One mistake and you're grounded for life.

Just then, I received a call from Maya.
"96.79%!!!!!" She literally screamed.
I could feel her happiness even through the call.
"That's my girl!" I said. We decided to meet the next day for a party.
"Its on me!" She said.

We had a lot of fun, and while returning` she sighed in relief, "We can finally join the same college!!"
"Its called University, dummy!!"
"Yeah, whatever!" She replied, happy that she had aced the exams.

One week passed. We gave the entrance exams. Both of us passed with flying colours.
"We're finally gonna be together for the next four years!!" She said.
"And who is this now, smiling like an idiot?" I asked.
"Yeah yeah!! I know that!" she said, slightly embarrassed.

Now that we both are in the same college, I decided to step up our relationship a bit. I decided I'd give her something, that she's gonna remember forever, hoping even after death.

I and Maya spent the rest of the time in the vacation together. Finally, it was time for a new beginning. A new era of study, a new era of friendships. A new beginning altogether.

"Its finally the first day! A new start!!" She said, excited.

"Yep! And there a few plans I have for us in mind!!" I said, to which she looked at me in the most loving manner ever.

"Cant wait!!" She said, giving me a hug and running off towatds her class.

"It's gonna be fun!" With that... I leave towards my class too, not knowing what's in store in the new home.
