🌄Fates Sunrise 🌄
She didn't let me finish as we were exchanging words. I wasn't done saying what needed to be said. The conversation concluded she left without saying another word. On the way back to her house it was raining and she was filled with emotions. She crashed her car into another car. She flew out of the windshield. Her seatbelt was not present at the time. I got the call and fell to the floor screaming in my empty apartment. I grabbed her favorite blanket and wiped my tears on it. Looking down, things were getting blurry. I reached over and sucked down a bottle of brown. I felt nothing. Enough to put a normal person on their ass. And I was just staring at the wall in the darkness of the night. It was stupid fight too. That's the thing that's gonna haunt me forever. Something that should have never happened. Now I'm the one soaking in the consequences. A week later I stood in the mirror getting ready for the hardest day. Dressed in full jet black. It too was raining on this day. At her funeral everyone had black umbrellas along with everyone wearing black. The rain dripping on the umbrellas drowned out the sound of the preacher. As he was resting his hand in the sign of the cross. I looked at her mom and she was sobbing watching the casket being placed in the ground. We all threw roses in to give the grim day some color. I went back home and just swiveled in my chair. Trying to get her voice out of my head. I layed down and when I fell asleep. She came in them for a final conversation. We were sitting in a forest and a glen with running water. She was sitting there on a cliff. I walked over to her. She looked at me and smiled. Then said Everything that happened, I forgive you. For I am to blame as well. Fate just didn't want us together. Sometimes fate speaks and it echoes in actions. Some good, some unfortunate. Mine was on the unfortunate side. But I don't blame you. Closure is good for I need it too. That's why I brought you here. Can you come sit with me one last time before I go? I shook my head as tears were coming out of my eyes and falling down my cheeks. I can do that for you. I came over and sat down and she put her head on my shoulder. And her hands in my lap. Just hold me one more time. As I was doing so. She started turning into crystal sand and blew away. I was there sitting on the cliff by myself. It was closure and I knew it... I smiled and looked at the sun rising as I was pulled back to reality. I opened my eyes back in my room alone. I looked over at the picture of her stretching the beanie over my eyes and were both laughing. I picked it up and kissed the picture. I got what I needed and so did she.
