Stitched Up (Part 1)
It was late at night when a group of friends were coming home from a party. They all left the house earlier that day because one of the friend's, Grey, parents were spending the night with them due to not having enough gas to get home from their anniversary vacation. It's midnight and the feel around the area wasn't the same as last night. It was colder than usual, especially odd because it was the middle of the summer. They calmed themselves down by driving around, avoiding going home because they didn't want to cause a disturbance.
After dying down the fire, they drive into Grey's driveway. It was rather quite out even for this neighborhood. Normally there would still be noises playing on and the late night chatter of a couple that are getting ready for their night guard job. And what makes it worst is the every dog on the street didn't make a sound, and they either would have been momentarily barking or howling. Not a good sign to see when coming home, but it's late, so they didn't think much of it.
They got out of the car, joking around before going inside the house. Grey turns and the lights and sets his stuff down. One of the friends, David, looked around and got a strange vibe radiating from the house.
David: Your parents must be asleep?
Grey: Yeah, pretty sure.
David: Okay, I just have a weird feeling.
The third friend comes over. His name is James.
James: Dude, you're probably tired from the party.
David: You might be right.
David sits down and looks up the dark stairwell. David couldn't see, but there was something totally wrong going on in this neighborhood. Besides the tension, he ignores it thinking it's just from him drinking.
The fourth friend, Oscar, went upstairs to go to bed then abruptly he heard a growl from behind. Now fully aware, he turns around to look down the dark hall, and it came from near Grey's parents room. Oscar goes into his room and finds a pistol, then puts it in his back pocket. He leaves the room and slowly walks over to the light switch. When he gets there he places his hand on the switch, but there was a long slender and bone cold hand.
Not wanting to start a sudden burst of adrenaline from the creature, Oscar turns on the light to reveal a hunched over slender thing a few feet away. It draws its long arm back by it's side seemingly staring at Oscar. Oscar steps back trying to keep his composure, while from behind he pulls out his gun ready to fire. It stays alert, but it didn't have any interest in him, but with something behind him.
Oscar slowly makes his way back to the staircase to warn his friends. As soon as he was out of the...
