Peace ....is it contextual and perspective based ?
The Gautama buddha said "Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without".
Someone commented on my post which said "WHEN YOU ASK YOUR SELF WHAT AFTER THAT WE REALISE OUR GOALS ARE TOO SMALL". The person commented you say making life peaceful in your bio and you write this ...? or he thinks peace is nowhere as he says ..by the way persons first name is Gautama ...who is named after the great Buddha....isn't that an irony ?

let's take his question as valid ..the quote for him meant where is peace when you are saying your are not settling ?
What is peace ..?
Does it have a stagnant meaning not dictionary based ofcourse ..
peace is for each of us is different someone
might find peace in sitting in a park in the evening looking at the green around is peace .For a workoholic "work" and strive to progress brings peace.
Here peace means different to different beings .
Let's talk about getting peace from settling and even settling for less without facing challenges to thrive and achieve and keep progressing.
Buddha who taught us about peace never said to settle for less . Neither did he, he could have just taught about peace just like that but did he ?
He went through all the struggles to be the enlightened being at the end and found eternal peace.
Settling for less is never peace .
Here Greed comes to picture if you never settle isn't it greed ? aren't you being greedy to be more .
No
It's how we draw lines .
Greed kills you and the actual peace than bring progress.
Peace in the quote context come from journey the journey of having bigger dreams and working for it. The bigger you dream the more you contribute .
"A guy who dreams of building a company doesn't is doing a greater good than settling , he is not only fulfilling dreams but creating more dreams by giving people jobs , If he had settled for less ? the greater good would have never happened".
This guy finds peace in his growth ,if you are enjoying your journey and facing difficuties as challenges the greater good is achieved at the end and peace comes from within.
It's all about our definitions of peace and how we balance goals which shouldn't turn to greed.
Let me end this by quoting the great Buddha again
"Peace comes from within ,Do not seek it without "
