My first love (1)
Chapter 1

Everything here looks different from my previous school and that what's makes me nervous. I find myself comparing myself with all the kids here with their skirt way above their knees and their shirts opened up showing a little cleavage. It sure is a far cry from my previous school where my principal would have beaten you, scolded you and sent you back home for wearing like whore as he would have said it. Talking about my old school makes me miss all that I have left behind.

For weeks on end I had begged my parents not to move, I loved my village where everyone knew each other, I didn't want to leave my friend behind, but mom promised that I would enjoy the big city. and so far I hate it, I have been to Johannesburg for 2 weeks now but I still don't find anything interesting about the big city.

I shake my head as I look at my skirt, all of a sudden feeling different from the other kids. I even stood out like a sore thumb.

I swallow up my fear and start to walk praying I don't get picked on, but it seems I have wished too late "You're new here right." I look at the person besides me and she is pretty as anyone you can ever imagine "Yes." She sticks out her hand and smiles "Amanda."
I take her hand and smile too "Sindy." and she takes her hand back she looks at me and snickers "Welcome to Bryanston."
when I look at my hand it is now filled with all sticky coloured stuff and that when everyone bursts into a laughter.
I stand there wishing that the world could open up and swallow me whole.
I run away blinded by tears and that's when I bump into a hard shoulder causing me to fly down the floor. I angrily wipe off my tears and my breath catches on my throat as I look up, standing there is the most handsome guy i had ever laid my eyes to.
"Look where you going dumb face."
I quickly look down and get up not daring to look up until I reach my class.
