Erased Alex - Server concept - 3 10am
#2amWritings
You and your friends have decided to create a Minecraft server together after taking a look at the new update. You're all extremely excited to be exploring this new terrain and new look in the game. Everything is going great.
However, you notice a strange player. You haven't met them before and they don't talk through any mic. You and your friends all assume someone in the group invited them. This player seems to not have a name tag though, which makes you wonder if they're a player or a secret npc within the new update. They interact with everyone as though they were a player though, however they still mildly creep you out.
They're skin appears to be that of someone in disguise; sporting a neon redish sweater, dark blue pants, and a simple smiley make. Their communicate solely with signs and on occasion a book and quill. They rarely build anything and spend most of they're time collecting blocks, mobs, animals, and small collections. When they do build, the blocks they build with are textureless, asking them to pass a block to you makes you feel like you've just entered the beginning of a war. Your friends agree. Collectively you all decide to leave the strange player alone in their own world, like they were the quiet kid at the back of a classroom, not bullied but just simply left to their own devices.
As the server begins to near it's 100th day, the first milestone you've all hit, you decide to ask the strange player what they will do in honor of this achievement. You place a sign down to ask them, they read the sign then shake their head and leave. Not saying or typing a word.
The closer to the hundreth day gets, you realize that you're less excited and more freaked out. You and your friends all agree that something doesn't feel right about this, especially with the mystery player who seems to be building, and building, and building. As if they had been preparing for this for some time, possibly as soon as they joined. But what they're building makes no sense. It appears to be a large board with lettering on it. But blocks are missing from the letters, you nor your friends can make out a single word.
You all try to ignore it, you try to ignore the bad feeling that you get from this. However, it's now day 99. The fear is real. The words are complete.
You realize the server seems to have been reset, except worse so. There's merely a lone spawning platform. The rest is void, the only real structure is the large board.
Finally, the player has a name tag, Alex. The board reads out "I can't be here. So on this hundreth day, neither will you."
You and your friends watch in collective fear, Alex stands before you, removing her disguise to show what looks like a normal player, except the skin seems unfinished. Partially erased even. You take screenshots, you take pictures, as the sun rises for the hundreth day, your game crashes. Your friends' games also crash. You all frantically try to reload, however the server is gone. All you have left are the screenshots you thought to take.
You upload them to the internet and send them to your friends to do the same as you all wait patiently for answers.
