Chapter 22: Getting Emma back

Ryan gathered his strength and stopped a cab. He got in and asked the driver to drop him in Neverville. Throughout the 4-hour-long and never-ending journey, he just couldn't stop thinking how he would ever face these people. He knew he was just a mere source in this game being played by Margaret and Jack. If he hadn't agreed, they would have probably hired someone else to play the part. So surely he couldn't have changed what was supposed to happen. But in the process of this ugly game, he met the love of his life. He remembered every single day he had spent with her over the last 6 months.
Ryan asked the driver to take him to the office of Child Protective Services. He was determined to get Emma back.
