I vibed with Cynthia in our first and second years as an undergraduate. We met during departmental freshers’ orientation which turned out to be a big flop as regards technical issues and poor planning for the program.

She was indifferent to the speech made by the staff adviser that if they are determined, they can have first-class knowing fully well that the department has never recorded a first-class candidate in the history of Unilorin.

I laughed my lungs out when she made a cynical remark that says ‘ They are all devil’s incarnates. They will sweet tongue you to study hard but are reluctant to give you your full marks because of flimsy excuses." I asked her how she got to know that.
