The Mummy (Final Chapter)
After watching her best friend dying in front of her Shraddha ran away from there. She was too much scared her legs were shaking while running, she sat on one of the benches near a bridge. At that time a weird thought appeared in her mind. The thought was the book was branch new and new-fashioned until I touched it, the same happened with the pen of Ansh. When mummy grabbed the pen, it transformed itself into a feather but the book had not a single touch of the mummy. How did this happened with me only “Wait the anti-relic was that, the wristwatch I had cause nobody but me only traveled back in time I need to find that watch, its only way to save rest of them”.
Saying this much to herself Shraddha jumped in the lake searching for that watch after 30mins of searching she finally found it. When she came up the shore, the mummy was there waiting for her.
“Look, look what we have here, poor little Shraddha, with one of my relic which is my key to freedom, be a nice girl now and give it to me.” Shraddha replied, “If you want it that badly come inside the lake and take it.”
“Fool tricks, I won’t and I can’t and you know that” Mummy screamed.
While the conversation was going on the dial of the watch on Shraddha’s hand glowed and correspondingly the book on Mummy’s waist glowed took Shraddha pressed the dial.
Everything except Shraddha paused the birds in the air, the cars in distance, even the Mummy paused, but the book was still glowing. Shraddha grabbed the book opened a random page luckily the book started from the exact point Shraddha left! The book further continues.
“A medallion, a feather, this book, a compass, and a knife and the anti-relic is an hour-glass.” The relics will adjust themselves with the timeline. If a person wields the hour-glass(anti-relic) at the correct time, we will know their destiny, which is Death. The wielder of the hour-glass has to kill himself or herself to lock mummy back in his coffin. “But if somehow mummy manages to kill or even hurt the wield before death the mummy will be free forever and the wielder will suffer in the coffin.”
Shraddha realizes that she must sacrifice herself for the world. The time continues, Mummy makes his move to obtain the watch, Shraddha thought it would be better to jump in the water as Mummy has only 1 weakness that’s water. Shraddha jumps off the bridge again but the Mummy makes a floor of sand above the whole lake while leaving no entrance inside the lake.
Shraddha lost the hope she had. She froze where she was. While the Mummy stretched his hand towards Shraddha 5 poisonous highly pointed sharp nails were approaching towards Shraddha. When these nails were just about to hit Shraddha her hand moved on its own and guarded her against his attack, Shraddha looked at her held, the watch had taken the form of the iron glove with a knife uprooting it and a silent voice was then heard by Shraddha.
“Know Your Destiny” and a piece of sand fell beneath of her while she was falling in the lake, she killed herself by putting the knife straight into her heart. The Mummy screamed, “Nooo…!!!”
The moment Shraddha passed away the Mummy fell away along with the relies. All the sand disappeared and the bright sun had risen in the city.
