The cry was faint but I heard it loud and clear as I walked past the dark bushes. My steps faltered because It was late, and I wasn’t sure if it was a smart thing to stop and inspect the source. As I tried to move on, a question burst into my mind like a grenade,
"do you know you can be a hero if you could just stop by and see for yourself?"
But I ignored with a face lifted to the air in fear. And the more steps I take, the more I could hear the cry. And the thought came again this second time,
"see, you are missing it, go back and see for yourself".
At this moment, I paused, sweating like a man who just finished a marathon race, even in the dark cold of the night. "this is madness! what if it's a trap?" I thought within myself. "no, I ain't going back!" I concluded, taking to the air.
While I was standing in the dark alone, battling with my thoughts and intuition, I glanced through my digital wrist watch, and with the help of the inbuilt light, I could see the figures clearly.
"What?... Jesus Christ!", I busted. "11:54 p.m and I'm still here because of one stupid thing?" "No, no, no, this time I'm shutting the doors to my ears against any kind of voice, whether from the mind or from the bush!" I said...
