The castaways

A distant noise from the birds, sound of crashing waves, and salty sand in their face and mouth.
Two girls in their early 20s lying prone wake up still delirious of yesterday events. Both have their hands holding to each other. They had gone to sleep exhausted in the same position.
" Neha, are you okay? " Geeta asked with her weak voice, half opening her eyes to look towards the other girl.
" Hmm, yeah, I guess so. Ahh my head is hurting, body is aching. The light are blinding." Neha answered back while opening her eyes.
" I am feeling the same." Geeta continued. " Lets wake up now. I need to pee."
Geeta rose from her position with the support of her hands and open her eyes slowly to get adjusted to the light. As see daw the surrounding, they are at a beach of some island.
Neha followed her and sat looking towards the sea.
" Neha, I am going to that bushes, can you come with me and check the area." Geeta requested.
Both went towards the thick vegetation just 50 meters from the beaches with small scrubs and trees. Neha pick up a fallen branch and started tapping to nearby areas for any snake or insects.
As there was no movement, she gave the sign and Geeta went inside. Neha followed after Geeta came back.
" Do you think our friends are alright? Will they search for us??" Neha asked as she recalled yesterday's events.
" They would be okay, the Yatch was strong, they have to be safe!!" Geeta got emotional.
She remembered the events clearly, how they went for a graduation party with their common friend Abhisek's Yatch, how they faced a sudden storm. The yatch just suddenly stopped working and shaken by the wind, forcing both to get separated from the group and fallen on a escape boat, which broke away from yatch. The boat flew and thrown away too far from the place and was breaking apart. They were lucky that the boat let them near the island, which they could reach in few hours of swimming after the boat was completely unusable.

It's been a week from their castaway. They had divided the work depending on their expertise. Neha surveyed the area and Geeta gathered food and water, which were in plenty in the island as it would rain a lot.
Neha found that, in the north direction there was a cliff and rocky hill where bird nest. Majority are covered with thick vegetation, with variety of insects and spiders but no snakes or bigger predators.
" So, found something interesting? " Geeta asked.
" We can go near the cliff and can find some eggs. I still haven't seen the birds, may be they were out fishing. The plants look different, there were lot of ferns, mushrooms. The insects are bigger here but they run away when I swinged the branch. It has a cave like structure too. I was scared to go alone." Neha replied.
" Then let's explore" Geeta said. " We still have not received any signs of search party. So, let's go deep inside and also check the cave that you found."

" Is it for real?? " Neha was astonished.
" It has to. How else we can explain this." Geeta uttered.
They were doing cave exploration with their pocket torch. There were some light from the creeks coming inside, still what they saw shook them to their core. A saucer shaped object, skeletons of unknown animals and even dynasour skeletons. There was no explanation. The door was open, so they entered.
" We shouldn't do this." Neha complained.
" I don't see any life signals. Don't worry." Geeta assured her.
As they went through the door, they encountered different panels. Some showing picture of galaxy, planet systems and earth. Most of the chambers were closed except for one. There was a strange illumination inside which seemed natural than any artificial light. As they reached the last room, it had a glass like door in the center.
" What is this? " Neha enquiries,
" Let me check it." Geeta answered as she touched the panel. It seems smooth and cold to touch. Suddenly it lights up and they could hear some sounds emanating from the glass. They tried to escape, but their body didn't move. The sound and images were directly projecting into their mind. They saw the craft crashing into this island. Strange alien looking species coming out and living their life. Killing dangerous predators, putting barriers like natural blockages to the island. They understood why they have still not being contacted as the island is invisible. They are actually inside another dimension within the space-time. They were shocked and scared, and started panicking knowing that they had no escape.
But then, a gentle voice started soothingly speak and show them that there is a boat east of their dwelling, which they can reach by swimming and then it showed direction to reach search party. Suddenly they lose their consciousness.
" Neha, wake up" Geeta said in an urgency.
" What, what happened." Neha woke with a jolt.
" Was it a dream or we have found a alien craft? " Geeta asked.
" No, I too remember it." Neha continued. " Does it means that we would find boat and search party?"
" Let us check, " Geeta said in excitement.
