Recap:- Rohit went missing so Mr. Choudhary went to search for him. He was instructed by a boy to get in a car for his son's safety. He was taken to an unknown place by two boys. After seeing the second boy he was shocked. It was Mrinal , Hari's son. He said that his father was innocent and didn't kill anyone and also that Rohit was safe with him.

Mrinal stared at me for sometime and then again started to talk, ' My father was absolutely innocent. It was Mr. D'Cruz who killed his father in law.' I was stunned after hearing this. I asked how did he know. He continued,' My father saw him doing that and told me. But he was unfortunate and didn't even have the slightest idea that he will be accused for something he never did.'

I said,' Please do tell me everything you know about that incident. I have got to learn the truth. Please.' Mrinal paused for a few seconds and then said,' Alright. Listen. The day the victim was killed Mr. D'Cruz went to meet him. His wife didn't know about it. My father had heard their whole conversation.

Apparently Mr. D'Cruz was in a need of lot of money. He had lods of debts to pay. He asked for money from his father in law who refused to give any of it because he knew that Mr. D'Cruz was a gambler. He said,' Just wait for me to die. After that all the things will naturally go to you.' But he couldn't wait that long. Their conversation turned out to be a huge argument and suddenly Mr. D'Cruz lost his temper and threw the vase kept on the table at him. It hit his head and he died on the spot.'

'Mr. D'Cruz made up the whole story in a way so that my father seemed the killer. The proofs that he presented to you were all fake. He even stole all the jwellery from the house. But you were foolish. You couldn't even judge what was right or wrong and because of you my father had to be the scapegoat.' Mrinal broke down saying this. His eyes were filled with tears.

I was speechless. There was no doubt that it was Mrinal who killed Mr. D'Cruz. I did not felt angry on him but rather a strong feeling of sympathy filled my heart. After sometime he ordered the other boy to bring Rohit. He went to the next room and came out with him. He looked safe but tired. I was happy to see him alive.

Mrinal had a revolver with him which he now took out and pointed towards his own head. He said,' I have no more option. My duty is done. I don't want to die in the hands of any judge. It's better I do it.' Before I could say anything the sound of the bullet echoed in the room. Rohit was staring with a blank face. The floor was covered with blood.

The other boy was also shocked at this. He then untied both of us and ran away threatening us that his name should not be out.

I still remember the scene when the police was picking up his body. His face is still clear to me. It looked exactly when like when I killed Hari.
