Chained
He yanked the chains again in the hope to break them apart. Nothing happened, except for the fact that be pulled his muscle once again.
He was shackled with chains, his arms bounded to the walls that stood on either side of him. He was imprisoned in a cell, bounded with heavy chains.
"Try harder, maybe you'll succeed," a voice spoke from behind him.
"Valec," Cal whispered, totally shocked that his brother was still alive.
He was the same. With blue eyes and high cheekbones, just like his father. His pale color suiting with the crown on his head, made up with Diamonds and Rubies. His crown was specially made to look like fire. Silver and gold twisted into rising flames.
"Ah, dear brother, welcome back. Welcome back to my kingdom," Valec said, his hands outstretched.
"Valec, open these chains, you know you are not going to stay alive if you dare touch me," Cal said.
Cal was more like his mother. Emerald green eyes. His cheekbones curving at the edge of his face. His jawline, sharp as if someone had carved it. His white skin blushed with a bit redness, making him look like a human rather than a God.
"Is that a threat or a warning?" Valec sneered. "It's my kingdom and I'm the king. No one even dares to lift a finger upon my deeds." He added
He came close to Cal, standing behind him.
He grabbed his black hair and yanked his head back, forcing him to look at him.
"How's Kiera? " Valec asked.
"Don't dare take her name out of your filthy mouth," Cal said through his gritted teeth.
Valec laughed. "What happened huh, jealous. You know that there's nothing or no one that could stop me from getting Kiera. You know that, right."
Valec kicked Cal hard in the abdomen. Then he kicked his feet, causing him to fall on his knees.
"Keira Kiera Kiera. You know she's mine. You know you can never have her when I'm alive." Valec said.
Cal clenched his fingers, his nails digging into his palms. It was Kiera, Valec was talking about. His Kiera. He gripped the chains tightly. Anger surging through his bones. He gripped the chains so tight that his knuckles were white as snow.
And then snap. The first chain was ripped apart from the wall. He pulled again, way harder this time and the other one broke too, like it was made up with twigs.
Valec backed up. It was not in his nature to be scared but seeing Cal like this was enough to scare him. Flames burst through Valec's palms. The flames danced around them in beautiful colors.
But both of them knew who was the most powerful one. Cal. It was only the special metal that was controlling Cal's power, but now the chains were broken. Both of them knew what within a snap he could destroy the palace, wipe it out of existence. Cal smiled, showing his gleaming, white teeth.
"Last chance. I don't think father would be happy if I killed you like this. You know father's rule. Leave no mercy, show no kindness to those who wish death to you, that's his words, aren't they?" Cal said.
Valec had turned paler. He had surely underestimated his brother.
"We'll see on the day we both will fight, we'll see who's the most powerful. Be prepared for the battle for it is coming near." Valec said
Cal smiled again. "You ask for a battle, but I'll bring you a war."
With that said, Cal vanished into thin air.
