Choices
#WritcoStoryPrompt113
Write a story about a time-train. You're standing right in the midst of a railroad track. There are two sides to every story: One that is positive and the other is negative. You have to choose between two sides, but you have no idea which one is which.

Missing a train is only painful if you run after it! Likewise, not matching the idea of success others expect from you is only painful if that’s what you are seeking.
And if you fail to believe in yourself even when the train of success stop by your feet, you will still miss it.
The light at the end of the tunnel is seen only by those who believe in it's existence.
You'll never be able to tell which way the train went by looking at the tracks.
So don’t stand on the side line or you'll be asking for trouble.
And when trouble comes it may not be directed mainly at you, there will be times when you’ll need to choose a side and in that moment positive or negative will not always be obvious.
Although most people when faced with diffcult situations prefer not to choose at all.
But to make or not to make a choice is still considered that you've made a choice as a choice was made the moment you choose not to choose to make a choice.
Having opposition can be good as it provides choices, but choices bring about consequences, be it good or bad.
Each side will require emotionally loaded language of a kind that supports one's viewpoint and that expresses opposition to the viewpoint of the other side.
In any moment of time, you have three paths to choose from. You either stand for something, you stand against something, or you drop both, and walk with your inner truth.
Don't take the wrong side of an argument just because your opponent has taken the right side.
I agree that sometimes it will be difficult to choose between right and wrong, but not between right and stupid.
If given a choice between life and death you would choose life. And if given a choice between right and wrong, choose what's right. But if given a choice between a terrible truth and a beautiful lie, choose the truth every time.
Because there is always a choice you have to make in everything you do. So keep in mind that in the end, the choice you make, makes you.
In all tests of character, when two viewpoints are pitted against one another, in the final analysis the thing that will strike you the most, is not who was right or wrong, strong or weak, wise or foolish.... but who would go to the greatest lengths in considering the other's perspective.
As human beings we have a light side and a dark side, and it's up to us to choose which way we're going to live our lives. If you've started out on the dark side, it doesn't mean you have to continue your journey that way. The time is always right to turn around.
So if you can't make the right decision, you can always make the decision right.
You can also hesitate before deciding but not once the choice is made,
So take all the time you need but remember
A choice with no consequences has no value and although you get to make a decision which is 100% yours, you still don't get to choose the consequence.
So making a choice knowing there will be consequences, and being willing to bear them, is what distinguishes the right choices from the wrong ones.
So don’t go around judging others on their choices without first knowing their reasons.
But most importantly please remember that a
choice made having devastating consequences for another is really not a choice.....It then becomes an act!!
