At the garden,
Chris took his gun from his pocket and looked for a while and ,

CHRIS : NOW!!GO!!

Karolina ran as soon as she got the signal to the direction of the house.

As she was running she observed two shadows were following her.

All of sudden BANG BANG!! GUN SHOTS can be heard

CHAPTER NINE - THE ATTACK

The attackers who were following Karolina shot her at the waist because of which she couldn't run and had a fall. The guests who were inside the house came outside and were shocked to see Karolina unconscious on the ground.Chris's father instantly took his gun out and shot the one of the attacker and started to run after second one. Meanwhile Chris came to the spot and told his brother Ronald "take the attacker's body to FBI's medical center and after treatment put him to cell " .
Ronald nodded and did as he said . Meanwhile Christian rushed to the hospital carrying Karolina's unconscious body . As they reached the hospital , the nurses and doctors took Karolina to the Operation theatre.
Christian and Karolina's family were waiting outside of operation hall, after few hours the doctor came outside.

DAD : ( nervously ) Doctor, is she safe??

DOCTOR : Yes, she is out of the danger. And I believe you are Mr Spencer,right??

DAD : ( calming down ) Yes, can I see her??

DOCTOR : you can, but before that I need some important things to tell you and your wife personally.

MOM : what is it doctor??

DOCTOR : Mr and Mrs Spencer I need you both to listen this information clearly. First of all your daughter Karolina is out of danger as the bullet didn't harm any vital organs but it went deep inside so her state is critical , we can't say if she can be on safe state because there are chances her body can go under serious condition . We have put her on induced coma , giving her body some time to recover. By the time when her body is out of danger and a bit recovered we will bring her from the coma.

DAD : How long she has to be on coma ??

DOCTOR : For this question only God knows the answer. Because every patient has different recovery rate. The patients with greater immunity will recover fast from the patients with lower immunity rate. So it entirely depends upon the patients.

MOM : Thank you doctor for your time.

DOCTOR : No problem it's our job. By the way you can meet her now , even though she is under coma but she can still hear you. Motivate her to fight hard. We have observed in many patients that they recover early if they have self confidence in them. So I ask you all to talk to her. Now please excuse me.

Thus saying that the doctor goes.

CASEY & AMANDA : Mom and dad ! is Karolina okay?? What did the doctor say about her condition??

DAD : Girls! Calm down! Your sister is fine but the doctor says that she needs time to recover from her injuries so they have put her under induced coma.

CASEY : ( shocked ) WHAT!! Coma !!!!! Mom and dad tell us the truth! If she is out of danger then why would they put her in coma??

MOM : Casey dear! I know you are worried about Karol but it's hospital you need to keep your voice low. Your sister is a brave one . She will be okay. And the doctor said we could see her and talk to her to motivate her to fight.

AMANDA : Then what are we waiting for!! Let's go!!
