Among the survivors was a man named Jack. He had lost his family to the disease and ever since, he had been living a solitary life, keeping to himself and avoiding human contact at all costs. He had built himself a small shelter in the middle of a forest and lived off the land, away from the chaos and destruction.
One day, while scavenging for supplies, Jack stumbled upon a woman who was stuck under some rubble. She was weak and barely conscious. Jack was hesitant to approach her, but something about her made him go closer. He carefully moved the rubble and helped her out. She introduced herself as Sarah and explained that she had been travelling with a group of survivors who were attacked by looters. She was the only one who managed to escape, but got trapped under the rubble.
