When they got no response , both of them checked out of the Resort , and paid some tips to the manager for his kind cooperation and help.
Finally, they both jumped into the car and headed for" Ruby Avenue".
While they were in the car, Gillian had become absent minded , and was thinking how can this be possible, a man reaches the Resort , joins the party , comes directly to her , introduces himself , leaves a message
on her mirror in her room,
how did he know her room number ,
then is it that someone was keeping an eye on her or was someone following her, and if even anyone was, then "who".
This question was constantly bothering her.
Robert while driving took a quick glance at her.
looking at her deep expression , he did not ask her anything.
After driving a mile, Robert suddenly put a brake and Gillian jumped up her head touching the car ceiling..
She became startled and gave a look towards Robert.
Then asked him in a pretty suspicious voice:
Robert, what on earth happened ? why did you pull your car brake so suddenly.
He gave her a look and said : I pulled the brakes suddenly on purpose , so that you could jump out of your thoughts.
Gillian said : no , I wasn't thinking.
Robert said : "yes", you were.
Gillian again questioned him, how did you know, I was thinking about something, you were looking in front and driving.
Robert said: I was looking at you but you were in a thoughtful expression,
she said What do you mean?
Robert answered I have been going around with you , and I have the habit of studying a person , and when I took a glance at you , you were thinking of something.
Now tell me Gill what were you thinking of?
Gill said: " Yes" , you are right I was thinking of the incidents, that happened , back in the Resort.
Robert asked quietly what do you mean?
Gillian said:
firstly, I go inside my room, the manager comes upto me and says to join their resort party,my beautician Elena enters, my room , asks me to go and get dressed up, does my make up
then the manager knocks at my door
Elena opens my door and tells the manager that I am ready,
Elena , holds my hand and helps me to go downstairs , and then she vanishes.
When I reach downstairs , everyone introduces himself or herself , whom I don't know.
Then a strange thing happens, a man from nowhere comes up to me, introduces himself and even he vanishes.
After the party, I go to my room, change my clothes , remove my make up, then I see a message on my mirror.
How on earth , did this stranger know my room number, no body knew where my room was except the manager and Elena, then was someone following me or keeping an eye on all my actions and reactions?
These were the things I was thinking about .
Robert looked closely and told her not to think so much or you will become tired.
