Welcome to the National Democratic Convention 2020!
Before we start, I want to thank everyone for the enormous amount of love, support, and kindness that you have all shown throughout the World these past few weeks. It is with much gratitude that I am able to be here with you all, tonight, able to share this information with you, able to have a
platform, able to usher in with you, our New World together.
However, it is also with much love and gratefulness in my heart that we are together tonight to be able to grieve with one another. Our bonds of sadness will tie each to the other as we all experience the passing of the Institution that we’ve known by no other name than that of American Democracy.
We should not let sorrow fill our hearts so much as we extend our regards...
