Tom and Michelle have been together for ten years, they are very happy. They know so much about one another, laughing and joking all the time. They are the perfect loved up couple and finding that happiness is not so easy. Michelle wanted to marry him and tried to throw many hints at him, but he just laughed but she was serious, she wanted to get married. One day Michelle and tom go up to the mountains for the weekend. Up in the mountains is a lodge and a restaurant café. Tom and Michelle haven't been since there first date. After unpacking the enjoy a nice relaxation session in a new part of the lodge with a pool, sauna and massaging room. The next morning they catch the train down the mountain ready to climb the largest mountain, a big challenge for them both. Half way Michelle struggled to get up, slipped so tom grabbed her arm quickly and pulled her up. "Come on hold on I'll pull you up. Michelle felt she couldnt go any further and needed to rest. We need to carry on before the clouds covers the mountain and we can't see. She sobs, I cant I'm too afraid. Shell you have too or we will both fall, I cant hold on for much longer. Michelle trys to grab on to the mountain, swinging backwards and forwards but the weight of Michelle is too great, she cant hold on and Tom's hand slips. " Michelle" he shouts. Tom climbs down the mountain to find her unconscious at the bottom of the mountain. Michelle, Michelle can you hear me its tom. He touches her head to see a lot of blood on his hand. People nearby get medical help. Tom sobs holding her close. Five minutes later the air ambulance arrives on scene and takes them both to the local hospital. Michelle was put on a life support machine to help her breath. Tom stayed with her as much as he was allowed. A month later Michelle started to move and open her eyes and looked around the room, she wondered what she was doing in a different room. The nurse spoke to her and explained about the fall while removing her breathing tube. The nurse checked her eyes and blood pressure. " wheres my Tom" she said. " is tom your partner" " yes" the nurse explained that tom couldn't stay with you so he has gone to find a place to stay but he will be back today. After breakfast tom returned and is so pleased to see Michelle awake. " I thought you was a goner" she looked at him and said " mountain climber I think I'm going to miss for a while" Tom laughs " I agree. A week later she is discharged with medication and plenty of rest. Tom lies Michelle down in the back seat of the car with her lovely pink and white flower blanket and she sleeps all the way back home to london
