( The Four Gods # 2 )
Waking Up, From a Nightmare -

Katnis's little hands were on my forehead. "Mommy, why are you crying?" A little cough came afterwards. I latched onto my small little daughter, no boobs yet, not a lust goddess, I snuggled her, and she loved every second of it.

"Mommy," I whispered again, "I'm hungry," she nodded and took my cold hand. "Let's go find something."

For a while Katnis couldn't hold anything down since we got her here, so, her wanting food is absolutely wonderful. The four gods have given her another chance, whether or not that was just a dream. Small little eyes stared at me from on the other side of the counter. "Do you want this?" She snatched the turkey sandwich, at first she didn't understand what it was, "mommy? Where is the peanut butter?"

"No...you aren't having peanut butter."

"But I want, peanut butter."

"Your not, having peanut butter!"

My breathing burst out in gasps, and I started stomping, "I want peanut but..." she shoved the sandwich in my mouth, I gagged a little then smacked her hand hard, and got far away from her. I tossed the sandwich on the floor, spitting up what I choked on.

"I'm sorry, but your not having peanut butter, you need to eat something else than that, I'm very tired Katnis, you keep waking me up in the middle of the night, I just need some rest."

"Then go to bed," I commented back. "I don't need you, I can make my own butter sandwich."

"I said no!"

She growled this time, so I backed down. "I'm sorry."

"When I say no, you better listen Katnis," for some reason, when I yelled at her she started crying and slowly she went to the corner of the room, crouched, and stayed put. "Come on, bed time," I whispered this time.

Katnis didn't move. "I am bad," that small little voice came from her, she didn't cry loud, only sniffles, "no, you were being naughty, not bad, now eat this," I held out a plate. Her eyes traveled from my slippers, to my hand. Accepting the plate I had, she stared at the peanut butter sandwich.

"You said I couldn't have it," I pouted as I pushed the plate back into her hand. "I'm not hungry anymore."

"You better eat that sandwich, before I leave you right here, in the dark, with nothing but that pellet stove running."

"No!" I gasped. "I will eat it..."

Slowly she brought the heart shaped bread up to her mouth, but then she stopped once it got to her lips. "I just remembered...I'm alergic to peanuts," she snatched that sandwich. "Why didn't you tell me!?" Her small shoulders shrugged a little as I cried out.

Mommy handed me something else, "chicken?" Nodding very slowly, I ate it. Her eyes hazed on me a bit before grabbing my hand, but when she did that, I scurried.

"It's fine," I whispered to Katnis. I got her to take my hand after eating, but Katnis was still hungry.

Breakfast was good, mommy was falling asleep here and there. I had lots to eat, I had no idea that food could...
