We've all lived independent lives at one time or the other. Some of us may not attest to that fact because momma and dad locked us up in the house each day when we were kids. Of course they didn't want us to get corrupted by the outside world, but truth be told some of us still got addicted to the terrible lifestyle they didn't want for us. It's because we're independent. We have freedom to think and plan whatsoever we want and that's why some children of rulers of nations and States who are monitored by an army of soldiers still fail their parents. They're simply independent. Independent of their parents to see what the world is in their own view. Momma won't cane the butt of their minds because momma isn't in control of her child's mind. She may even have no knowledge about her children thoughts.
Even an imprisoned man is independent to have his own thoughts. His free to think and believe whatsover he wants to, but he's not free to say whatever he wants to say.
In a nutshell, if we're independent to think, positive thoughts that will change the world should be revealed
