Hiding a void
#WritcoPoemChallenge
HEY THIS IS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A POEM NOT A STORY
Into the flames rising out of a setting sun,
I draw in a deep breath before I run...
Looking into the distance, holding a gun
I wanted my last words to be "Life was fun"
But no
I couldn't just go
Giving an opportunity to those who wanted me low
I was a dove, not a crow
I will be back like the morning glow
Meet the enemy at his favourite show
But who will fill this open void?
The flaw I had been trying to avoid
The sky I flew
There met a king that closer he drew
Gave me advice
And one saying he did mention thrice
He said: Don't let anyone love you more than yourself
And what he said thrice: "One of the most painful things
Is seeing the people you made memories with
Slowly...becoming...memories, but it's a part of life
Be strong
Mind your tongue
Life is like a game of ping pong
Never without a toss or rotate and so on
Yoru one of the few that understand the concept of life when they are young
Farewell, little one.
