The photographer's gaze shifted to Lorenzo, who stood there, an apologetic smile on his face. "I didn't mean to cause any trouble," Lorenzo said. "I'll leave you two to talk."

But the photographer was not satisfied. "An old friend, huh? And since when do old friends get so... cozy?" he sneered, his mind racing with suspicion.

Isabella sighed, a hint of frustration in her voice. "You're one to talk, with all your late nights at the spa. Or should I say, your late nights with her?"

The air was thick with tension, each accusation a dagger in the fabric of their relationship. The photographer knew he had no moral high ground to stand on, yet his jealousy refused to be silenced.

"Isabella, I—"

"No," she interrupted, her voice firm. "You don't get to play the victim here. Not after everything you've done."

The sound of the gunshot reverberated through the air, a harrowing punctuation to the heated exchange between the photographer and Isabella. The moment froze, time itself holding its breath as the echo of the shot faded into a haunting silence.

In the stillness that followed, the photographer stood, the smoking gun in his hand a stark testament to the gravity of his actions. Isabella lay motionless, the impact of the bullet a mystery, its location unknown.

"Isabella!" he cried out, his voice a mix of horror and disbelief. "What have I done?"

He rushed to her side, his mind racing with fear and regret. The photographer, once an observer of life through his lens, now faced the grim reality of his own making.

As he knelt beside her, he saw the wound—a dark stain spreading across her dress. It was her neck, the bullet had struck in her face exiting on her nape, considering a very-fatal wound, as a result that carried the weight of all his mistakes.

"Stay with me, Isabella," he pleaded, his hands trembling as he tried to apply pressure to the wound. "Help is on the way. You're going to be okay."
