Episode 9 : First Day of Internship
Esha is a diploma student studying in polytechnic which has sandwich pattern course i.e in there course work one year training for them is mandatory...i.e her Sem 5 and Sem 8 would be intership in any company....
Esha was in 5th sem so she filled the choices of 3 companies given by there Training Placement officer...Many of her friends got selected for diffrent diffrent companies.... Esha too have applied for 3 companies but didn't got response for any she was upset as it was End of May month...Intership period was going to start in Month of June...I was not like Esha was low performer or not good in academics it was her age which was occuring a problem... a person has to be minimum 18 to work in industrial evironment where Esha was about to complete 18 at Month of July.....Till the time her TPO was trying and requesting few companies to get admitted to Esha in there firm....There were also few like Esha who didn't got admitted because of low academics some company didn't had interest to take on such students....
Esha dad was working in Police Department he has good contacts with company so with the help of Father....Esha had got one company who liked Esha resume and want her to get trained under them....Esha was very happy beacause her dad finally helped her from this situation ....there were also few of classmates left who needed to be placed Esha requested her dad can he talk to the manager... for her other classmates as she knows the pain she has suffered when no company wants to take you ....Upon Esha request her father requested the Manager of company and the manger was ok to give training to the students....Esha told this to her TPO madam and she Thanked Esha that she is so helpful even for her classmates....
On 15 June , 2011 was first day of training....The company was Automobile service centre and showroom of Hyundai cars....Esha had a classmate from another division with her so they waited in lobby from morning 8 they were sitting in lobby ....There the spend time reading news paper, Reception laday asked them weather they need tea of coffee they took coffee with some biscuits...Manager came at 11 am to see them...
Esha and her Classmate Pooja were bit nervous in front of manger as this Industry culture was new to them....Manager asked them to come with them in his cabin....Manager asked Esha to introduce herself.....and to Pooja to do the same after Esha....
Esha introduce herself with her full name Education her dreams and not but the least what she expects form this training.... Manager was impressed by her...
Pooja also copied the same like Esha did.....
Manager gave a brief introduction about him , about the company, products and services they offer...As it was Esha and Pooja first day in Industry Manager didn't want them to fell pressure so he told them to sit in cabin and read about the diffrent models of Hyundai cars see there pricing, features ....
