This old stick
"Do you even know what that stick does!?"
"Nope, but we're about to find out" Bradley replied.
"It's probably just a walking stick you know"
"It can't be"
"oh come on Brad what else is it likely to be, especially in this day and age" Monica remarked, clearly unimpressed her boyfriend was even bothering with the stick.
"Come on babe, where's your sense of adventure gone"
"It got up and went to find some real adventure not some plain old stick" she sarcastically replied.
"I'm telling you, I was drawn to it for some reason"
"Probably to just annoy your girlfriend with it" she responded walking over to the living room window being nosey.
"wait Mon' somethings happening" he said as the room changed colour and went extremely bright. She turned around to look at him and saw how the room had changed around them he lifted the stick and tapped the floor with it, the room changed from there room to a sandy beach.
"Where are we?" Monica asked her boyfriend.
"On our first adventure by the looks of it, I told you I knew the stick was gonna do somethin'" he said happily.
"Great, so how do we get back?" She asked.
"Guess it would be the same way as we got here" he replied and with that he took her hand, "But first we are going to have some fun." he promised, hand in hand they walked towards the ocean lovingly.
"Are you ready to go back?" he asked her
"Yeah'" she replied and with that Bradley tapped the floor two times which took them back to the house.
"Maybe that old stick wasn't such a bad thing for you to find, after all." Monica confessed, "Cos that was really fun" she quickly added
"I told you so" he said softly and gave her a kiss on her forehead, "Just imagine where we could go with this thing" he added becoming more excited
"I am" she admitted.
"But for now I think we should get some dinner and leave this here, definitely don't want to lose that now do we" he said softly
"Great idea and no, we really don't"
The stick that had once seemed boring to Monica soon became there own personal holiday resorts offering them loads of options and fun and most importantly the time together they both needed.
