Trust: A prescious treasure
"This is real life! You don't get to restart things when you make a mistake!" Jacob said with swearing eyes.
"Yeah, but we can pay for our mistakes. Don't you think so?" James said with pointing his one eyebrow.
"No, whatever you do afterwards doesn't matter." Jacob said in a serious tone.
"Why do you think it doesn't matter?" James said in a whimsical manner.
"It can never be restored. A broken heart can never be the same again." Jacob said and let out a sigh.
"I know, but, if we realized that we made a mistake and have broken someone's heart we can do something for them to make them feel better.." James tried to prove his point of view.
"Yeah, they may feel better but what about the trust? Do you really think that they will ever trust you again?" Jacob said and gazed at him in a resentful manner.
"We can win trust again over time." It seems that James didn't agree with his point of view.
"No, once broken it can never be gained again. They will never trust you the way they did before." Jacob said with his eyes staring the ground which showed that he was in deep thoughts.
"Ahhh..So what should I do now?" James asked making a gloomy face.
"I don't know.." Jacob said as he wake up from the sleep of his thoughts.
" There must be a way.." James said with a hope in his eyes.
" Yeah, Go and ask them for forgiveness for what you have done because this might brings your heart at ease." Jacob said and smiled at him.
" But this will make me always sad that they don't trust me anymore." James said and stared at Jacob as he may do something to make him feel at ease.
" You have to live it..and bear it." Jacob said and pat James hand to encourage him.
"But.." James tried to say something.
" This is the only way so that you can learn and remember you are not going to break someone's trust." Jacob said and looked at him with a breif smile.
" Yeah..Ok wish me luck. I really love her and I will again gain her and her family's trust." James said with the smile full of hope.
" My prayers are always with you. I hope you succeed." Jacob said and shake hands with james as they parted their ways.
