The streetlights were dim as the mist enclosed it in its mysterious grip. She peered out of her window into the darkness, was there someone out there or was it her imagination?
There I see you again in the street
Kinda gave me fright
You are not who I wanted to deal with that night
After all we did just have a fight
But at the time I was inside longing to have your arms around me telling me we would be alright
after all there been a lot of them scarey sometimes I won but still you tried to make them right
when you are saying all those things that say about me that I hate it hurts so bad it makes me feel like I will have to battle for you love in life that messed that's not right
so many time you were there for me or hit on and scream at me for things that happen when you were not around me like tonight
You hit me you hurt me you broke me you made me feel that your love for me has never been and that was never right
Because it's been 35 years I've been by your side in life because the I thought our live would always be right
But as I've seen lately it's gone away to stay because when I see you i shake inside because you scare me and the makes me feel fright
wish sometime that i would have left a long time ago the first hand you laid on that broke my heart and made me die inside but I did not because I thought we were so tight
I loved you then and I do still tonight
seeing you out there under the street light
