Light the lamps for the king returns,
Victorious and valiant,
In an eternal battle with,
A ten headed enemy...

Shout and be merry,
Sing loud praises,
The king lives forever
Beside him is his lover,
The source of his eternal power,
To battle on the night tower

Dress him in brilliant apparels,
Mock his adversary
Set up a splendid feast,
For fallen is the beast.
