Toby and the wolf.

Once upon a time, there was a clever boy named Toby. He was on the way to see his father Darth Gloop when he decided to take a shortcut through Darkham Park. It wasn't long before Toby got lost. He looked around, but all he could see were trees. Nervously, he felt around in his bag for his favorite toy, Spike, but Spike was nowhere to be found! Toby began to panic.
He felt sure he had packed Spike. To make matters worse, he was starting to feel hungry. Unexpectedly, he saw a terrifying wolf as dark as night, and as large as can be disappearing into the trees. "How scary!" thought Toby. As he regained his courage he saw a rabbit dressed in blue jeans and a red happy face tee shirt. He decided to follow the peculiarly dressed rabbit. Perhaps it could tell him the way out of the forest.
Toby followed the rabbit for many miles deeper into the forest. Eventually, he reached a clearing. In the clearing, there was a house. Toby smelled his favorite food being cooked, pepperoni pizza. Toby could feel his tummy rumbling. Looking at the house the smells did nothing to ease his hunger. "Hello!" he called. "Is anybody there?" Nobody replied. Toby looked through the windows of the house and wondered if it would be rude to go inside and eat somebody else's food.
Obviously, it would be impolite to eat the whole pizza, but perhaps it would be considered acceptable to nibble on a slice or two, in a time of need. A cackle broke through the air, giving Toby a fright. A witch jumped into space in front of the house. She was carrying a cage. In that cage was Spike! "Spike!" shouted Toby. He turned to the witch.
"That's my toy!"The witch just shrugged."Give Spike back!" cried Toby. "Not on your best day!" said the witch. "At least let Spike out of that cage!" Before she could reply, the terrifying wolf rushed in from a footpath on the other side of the cleaning."Hello My wolf," said the witch "Good morning." The wolf noticed Spike. "Who is this?" "That's Spike," explained the witch. "Ooh! Spike looks delicious. " Give it to me!" demanded the wolf.
The witch shook her head. "Spike is staying with me." "Um... Excuse me..." Toby interrupted. "Spike lives with me! And not in a cage!"The black wolf ignored him. "Is there nothing you'll trade?" he asked the witch. The witch thought for a moment, then said, "I do like to be entertained. I'll release him to anybody who can eat a whole pizza."The black wolf looked inside the house at the pizza and said, "No problem, I could eat an entire pizza if I wanted to." "There's no need to show off," said the witch. Just eat one pizza and I'll let you have Spike."
Toby watched, feeling very worried. He didn't want the witch to give Spike to the wolf. He didn't think Spike would like being eaten by a terrifying wolf. The wolf put on his bib and withdrew a knife and fork from his pocket. "I'll eat this whole pizza," said the wolf. "Just you watch!" Pulling off a slice of the pizza. He gulped it down smiling and went back for more. And more. And more. Eventually, the wolf started to get bigger - just a little bit bigger at first. But after a few more slices of pizzas, he grew to the size of a large snowball - and he was every bit as round.
"Hey... I don't feel too good," said the wolf. Suddenly, he started to roll. He'd grown so round that he could no longer balance!"Help!" he cried, as he rolled off down a slope into the forest. The wolf never finished eating the pizza and Spike remained trapped in the witch's cage. "That's it," said the witch. "I win. I get to keep Spike." "Not so fast," said Toby. "There is still one pizza to go. And I haven't had a turn yet. "I don't have to give you a turn!" laughed the witch. "My game. My rules." The rabbit's voice carried through the forest. "I think you should give him a chance. It's only fair." "Fine," said the witch. "But you saw what happened to the dog. He won't last long."
"I'll be right back," said Toby. "What?" said the witch. "Where's your sense of impatience? I thought you wanted Spike back." Toby ignored the witch and gathered his hunger. Carefully, he pulled off a piece of the pizza. He quickly devoured the whole piece. Toby sat down on a nearby log. "You fail!" cackled the witch. "You were supposed to eat the whole pizza.". "I haven't finished," explained Toby. "I am just waiting for my food to go down."
When Toby's food had digested, he tore off another piece of the pizza. He ate it at a leisurely pace then waited for it to digest. Eventually, after several sittings, Toby was down to the final piece of the pizza. Carefully, he finished his final slice. Toby had eaten the entire pizza. The witch stamped her foot angrily. "You must have tricked me!" she said. "I don't reward cheating!" "I don't think so!" said a voice. It was the rabbit. He walked back into the clearing. "This little boy won fair and square. Now hand over Spike or I will bite your broomstick in half."
The witch looked horrified. She grabbed her broomstick and placed it behind her. Then, huffing, she opened the door of the cage. Toby hurried over and grabbed Spike, checking that his favorite toy was all right. Fortunately, Spike was unharmed. Toby thanked the rabbit, grabbed a quick souvenir, and hurried on to meet his father. It was starting to get dark.
When Toby got home his father threw his arms around him."I was so worried!" "You are very late."As Toby described his day, he could tell that his dad didn't believe him. So he grabbed a triangular-shaped napkin from his pocket."What's that?" asked his dad. Toby unwrapped a slice of the wolf's pizza. His dad almost fell off his chair.
