Once upon a time, a witch made a batch of the best pancakes there had ever been. They were fluffy and golden with butter dripping over it. She added in a few special magical ingredients and dumped chocolate chips in. She finally drizzled syrup on the golden stack and placed it in front of her daughter.

But her daughter had just gotten her wisdom teeth taken out. She was only allowed liquids for the next 24 hours! What kind of a cruel joke was this?!?

The daughter gave her mother an evil eye. She knew her mother had done this on purpose. There must be a reason she was tempting her like this while she was suffering and in pain!

“How could you do this to me?!” Her daughter lamented.

The witch just kissed her daughter. “To teach you endurance, dear.”

The daughter grumbled something far from polite to her mother, and the witch just cackled happily at her daughter's antics.

“I love you!”
