Chapter-3 Noble Eightfold Path

The Noble Eightfold Path is the path of Buddhist practices leading to liberation from the painful cycle of rebirth.

The Eightfold Path consists of eight practices:
right view,
right resolve,
right speech,
right conduct,
right livelihood,
right effort,
right mindfulness, and
right meditative absorption or union (samadhi).

Right View: our actions have consequences, death is not the end, and our actions and beliefs have consequences after death.
So in every aspect of life, we must act facing it's consequences. If the death is not the end, then there's other world either heaven or hell, but the spirit faces it's consequences for sure. We might have did many things with our own perception but have we ever realised or bothered that the perception is leading us to the right path.

Right Resolve or Intention: the giving up of home and adopting the life of a religious mendicant in order to follow the path; this concept aims at peaceful renunciation, into an environment of non-sensuality, non-ill-will (to loving kindness), away from cruelty (to compassion). There's always a chance if we accept the consequences of our own perception and to resolve our mistakes, there's a path for us that leads us to our compassion.

Right Speech: no lying, no rude speech, no telling one person what another says about him/her to cause discord or harm their relationship. Yes, the present world has it's own way of gossiping and rumours and we are in a state that we ourselves are always in a confusion to rely on a conclusion whether to believe it or not, whether it is true or not. We can avoid or end the misery of it by oathing ourselves not to lie or to hurt others.

Right Conduct or Action: refraining from killing, stealing, sexual misconduct. How can one kill another, is it really called the real world when we can't allow others to live among us and it shows and signifies the incapability of us. The world is fighting and wars raged on, humans steal from each other and sexually exploits. What kind of a society that we are living in and sharing and offering to the future generation? One can show kindness. One can show love. One can step back from hurting. One can control their vengeance.

Right Livelihood: Gaining one's livelihood by benefiting others also not selling weapons, poisons or intoxicants. The technology we have is what should made our lives easy and to protect ourselves from the endangered species. But it eventually tutned out as the source of destruction.

Right Effort: preventing the arising of unwholesome states and generating wholesome states. Unity always wins in every aspect. It's not about who's supreme. It's about who can hold onto one another with all of their efforts. It always makes lives easier and contrast to what we're living in.

Right Mindfulness: "retention," being mindful of "teachings or elements" that are beneficial to the Buddhist path. One who learns the ways to live their life without suffering never turns back from the truth and attains peace and happiness.

Right Samadhi: practicing the four stages of meditation and reinforces the development of the mindfulness. concentration or one-pointedness of the mind, and supplemented with meditation aims at insight. The one who thinks beyond their level of perception, the one who meditates and practices to live their life without suffering attains the perfection of wisdom and achievement of unfathomable state of liberation.
