"Ready to go pick up our retired sled dog?" Keiran asked. Ashfur nodded eagerly, he was so excited. "There's going to be a full tour and then we're going to meet the adoptable retired sled dogs." Keiran said. Ashfur nodded. "And this is the kennels." Igor said. Ashfur and Keiran nodded. "Now onto our adoptable sled dogs." He said going to the kennels. "This is Kavik." Igor said sticking his fingers through the door to the gorgeous huskies' kennel. Kavik barked his fur raised in fear. "This is Sakari, she wasn't our breeder dog but her mother had bred a few times before she passed away." Igor explained. Ashfur stared at the small alaskan husky. "You've just made him fall in love." Keiran teased. "This is Ocean, he actually won Iditarod races quite a few times before his injury." Igor said. Ocean, excited to see people, jumped on the kennel door, his tail wagging wildly. "Hi sweet boy." Ashfur said, looking over to Sakari again, she had his heart. "This is Capri she was retired due to surgery she actually had to have and we almost lost her." Igor said again. "This is Kigo he was our main lead dog for a while but we retired him early due to infection." Igor said. "Aww." Keiran said. "This is Denali she loved being out on the trails but she didn't have it in her anymore." Igor said. Keiran nodded. "She's gorgeous." He said petting her soft ears. "Echo, Alpine, Zorro, Kalik, Beta, and Pepper." Igor said. "Sakari." Ashfur said. Keiran nodded. "I know Ocean has your heart." He said. "Hey, this isn't about me. This is about you and if you want Sakari you can have her." Keiran said. Ashfur looked to his favorite dog again. "You sure?" He asked. "Positive." The Alpha male said. "Thank you Keir." Ashfur said. "No problem Prince." Keiran said. Ashfur opened Sakari's kennel. Keiran pulled his black card out of his wallet. "Your using your black card." Ashfur said. "I don't ever use it, one time's not gonna hurt anything." Keiran said. Ashfur looked unsure but nodded. "Your going to have to take everything very slowly from the start, introduce her as you would a puppy." Igor said. Keiran nodded. "So like Whisper, except in this case we know that Sakari wasn't abused, just not used to house dog life." He said. Ashfur nodded. "Right." He said. Keiran rested his head on Ashfur's shoulder. "Mosaic's going to permanently hate me, he's never going to forgive me for bringing yet another dog into the house." Ashfur said. "He's not gonna hate you, he'll just need to learn to get along." Keiran said. Ashfur nodded.
