An infinitesimal drop of rain ____ as I stood on the balcony, watching the rain-fall outside ____ dropped with a gentle patter on a mossy twig of the tree and then, from it, seeped straight onto a fresh green leaf, its look being that of a diamond ___ vivacious . Then, came down another drop on the leaf and then, yet another in a quick succession, each inching towards the other until they combined into a single large mass.

This way, the whole universe is interwoven with each other, resulting in a cosmic unity, a wholeness which is known as Brahman in the Upanishads.
