Silence of Mohan's home, silence in the air... made me nervous.
All the old men of the house sat in front...I was standing leaning on the wall, only that tik-tik sound of the old clock on the wall can be heard.
I saw Swath... stepping down. She too had stress lines on her face.
I felt my breathing will end if someone won't break this silence.
I saw Mohan hitting his nails in tension.

" So, What do you do?" Swath's uncle asked me.
" I'm working at...
I heard a car sound in front of the gate.
I saw Mrs. Nair and her daughter with Suchi.
Suchi... I said.

Mrs.Nair was already known by Swath's family.
"I'm Suchitra" my sister introduced herself.
Came here for an art festival... She is a dancer. Mrs. Nair said.
Suchi came and stood near me... I felt a sudden relaxed air in my mind and throat...
Mr. Menon said," Oh your sister.... "
I said" yes".
So... Where you said you are working" again that same uncle poked.
I felt... From where I should start?
I grasped air...
"I'm a... " before I could speak...I heard my name!
"Sagen...Rajput... "
I heard a male voice. I looked outside with curiosity.
"Mr.Ramesh". I said...
I felt another dose of joy.
"Hey, How come you both know each other" Mrs.Nair gave a surprised look to us.

Ramesh and I hugged each other....As we met unexpectedly after long gap of time.

"Uncle... He was my team lead in the previous company in America. Now he is a successful professor at London University, He teaches and conducts classes under IT...also has his developing projects of Department in the IT sector... He is... I interrupted him,
" Yar..."
I giggled as I felt God had sent Ramesh here!!
"Really... "One uncle of Swath said.

I felt a bit of joy... I looked at Swath... She too had no idea of my workplace since our conversations were zero!!

One Aunty said, "Swath knew him from her 11th std. See all knew him now..."
I felt happiness running under my pulse.

One lady brought evening tea and a tray filled with snacks.
Suchi clutched "murk". And smiled at me.
Me. Menon looked at me and asked, "Will your parents accept my child?"

Suchi jumped up and hugged "Swath... My jiji... Why not uncle ji... We will make this happen! "
They will accept a professor for a professor!."
I was happy. I saw Swath is happy...but confused... I saw all happy.

As I board next day morning, I heard a soft voice saying"So we are together?"Swath said by hooking her fingers on my sleeve of the shirt.
I said "of course and forever" I gently kissed her forehead.
I saw Mr. Menon waving us. His eyes had tears of love for his daughter. I felt something I never known. I felt that, this Women is mine and I have to protect her! Love is Love!
