Once upon a time there was a girl who met a boy. This girl was broken, broken in so many ways. She had fears, insecurities, low self esteem and no hope for recovery. When she met this boy, something told her to trust him. Something told her to put all of her faith in him. And so she did. She sat him down and she undressed herself completely. She stood there naked, every single scar, every ugly stretch mark, every grotesque piece of cellulite was visible. This boy bore witness to this girl's deepest, darkest, most despicable of secrets. She unleashed all of herself onto him. She did her best to make him see, to make him understand. She needed him to understand all of her reasons, all of her insecurities, all of her fears. She needed someone to know that she wasn't evil, she was only scared. She told him everything so that she didn't have to repeat any of it with him. She wanted him to be different. He was worth it. He shone bright and she felt warm in his light. She needed to repent so that she could be baptized and she could begin again. This boy was her priest and he offered her absolution.
