So, I am in class 11 currently and will be in 12th soon. I have been studying in same school since I was three and now I am 18. My crush has also been in the same school since the age of 2.
When I was of 5, I was selected in a Goan couple dance. When rehearsals were there daily the partners used to be changed. So, on the day of dance, as you would’ve guessed, me and my crush became partners. My parents are very open minded, so when I turned 7 or 8 years old by remembering this incident they teased me by calling her my GF(nothing offensive). And when we were in class 2, we had a trip to a zoo. Our class teacher made pairs of students and again, me and my crush became partners and the whole trip I spent holding her hand.
P.S. At that time I didn’t have crush on her.
But in class 3 and 4, my crush and a boy sat together for almost 7–9 months and all of us in friends’ circle started calling them BF GF just mockingly.
I had always been topper and by the time we were in 6th, she became a very tough competitor, So at that time only thing in my mind was to defeat her in exams.
Then the biggest incident occurred when I was in 7th class. our exams were going on. So, I was on the left chair of first bench in 1st row and she was in the right chair of first bench in 2nd row. It basically was we both sat together almost. I just used to talk to her the whole day as none of my friends sat nearby. Maybe that made me develop feelings for her.
in December 2018 one of our teachers took those students with incomplete work. We both were good at maths and my partner and her partner both had gone and we both were doing maths work.
she suddenly came on my seat and asked if she could sit with me. I said yes and suddenly my inner will said “ Tu to hamesha ke liye mere saath baith sakti hai"(you can sit with me forever) couldn’t talk to her as As soon as we reached school we had to go to classrooms and then directly after exams home. So I couldnt talk to her for approx. a month.
When we got promoted to 8th class, I hesitated to talk to her but slowly I managed to talk to her. But I held my feelings for so long and had to tell them to someone. I decided to tell my best friend to tell him that I had crush on a girl.
so I told him and he promised that he wouldnt tell it to anyone and he has kept it till date but, one day me and my best friend were talking and a third guy heard us but he also didn’t reveal that secret. My best friend told me about a guy from another guy from another class who had crush on the same girl. So me, my crush and that guy all of us went to badminton classes in our school. I asked him about if he had crush on the girl I had. He replied yes. Then he asked me who was my crush I told that we had the same crush. He ran the same moment and went to tell my friends. He could just tell that I had crush on someone but didn’t tell the name. But in coming few days he revealed my crush to 10 other guys.
I had to do something so that I don’t get caught. I decided to lie to all my friends except my best friend that I had now left the crush on her and now have no feelings for her and they accepted.
the guy who had same crush as mine also had a crush on our class teacher which was their class teacher the previous teacher. His discussions became popular in July in our class. after dispersal we all met outside our school. My crush, me and that guy who had the same crush used to talk. My crush asked that guy who her crush was. He didnt tell but slowly she got to know it from her friends. I didnt tell anything to her. One day she told the guy that she knew he had crush on her. The guy thought I told her that he had crush on her. He said that he would tell her that I have crush on her and so he did……. But, my good luck! She didn’t believe. She thought the guy was lying because she thought he tried to trap me.
for almost 2 - 3 months I couldnt talk to her the way I used to in 7th class.
but some children in our class started teasing my crush of the other guy who had the same crush. Then she complained the teacher that the guy troubled her. the teacher scolded him. he said me that now he would again tell her that I had crush on her. He again told. this time my crush got doubtful. Then after a lot of efforts we made that guy speak to tell my crush that he was joking. My crush didn’t talk to me, ignored me for months. But in Jan 2020, we had to work together in Republic day enactment. so due to that enactment, I started whatsapp chats with her. She started to talk with me in school. but then lockdown was imposed. Then also we couldn’t talk. But then I joined the coaching institute she used to go to and now we casually talk on Whatsapp. I hope this year I might confess to HER .............
