Episode name : I Met Her
We finally got into the party. Vikram and Rahul rushed for the drinks. Rakesh and George joined their partners who are waiting for them at the entrance. I took another toothpick and put between my teeth. I thought to socialize just like Rahul and have bunch of people around him everywhere he goes. Its just the fear stopping me to interact with someone. I was exploring the house talking to myself. I was about to join Rahul but a group of girls surrounded him. I walked back quickly and connected my earphones and started listening to Kodaline again. And there comes a girl into the frame i was looking at. She was smiling and pretending to drink with her friends. She was beautiful. Generally i dont freeze while watching beautiful people. But sadly the song i was listening to is 'All i want'. So i froze looking at her. She noticed that i was gazing her. I quickly turned back.
"That's a fabulous art. Right?" a soothing voice was heard as if it was said to me. I slowly turned back. It is the beautiful face. "Yeah" i said with my shy tone. "I am Varshini" she gave me a hand shake. Toothpick fell out of my wide open mouth. "Vimal!" i shook the hand. She started a conversation . A conversation about painting. I didn't even look at the painting, may be i didn't even listen to her. I was just looking at her and nodding. It was all silent and dreamy.
" I didn't see you here before" i told her.
"This is the first night party i apppeared in. I used to have a feeling that these parties are bore. Now i know it is not that bore" she said.
"why is that so?" i asked.
"Because there are good boys who gaze and to talk with" she giggled
"what?" i smiled out of shy
"I have to leave now. Bye."she hurried after her phone rung.
She left and i again started to hear other voices.
All went good except there is no artwork on the wall.
I didn't notice but the time hastened while she spoke. All the good things end up quickly. I shared about Varshini with my gang in the car while everyone discussing about their flirt talks." Congrats bro! 0.5 percent chance increment that you dont end up being single." Rakesh laughed. well she used a painting that is not even there just to make a conversation. There are two possibilities. Either she is mad about you or she is just mad" Rahul and Vikram started cracking up jokes while George left into dreams.
"I should have taken her phone number , waiting till the next midnight party is the only option" i said to myself.
I enjoyed the 3 am drive with the cool breeze in her thoughts and for the first time i was excited for an upcoming midnight party.
